1. Announcement (pengumuman)
Announcement (pengumuman) adalah pernyataan lisan atau tertulis yang ditujukan untuk memberitahukan sesuatu kepada orang banyak.
• Pengumuman lisan minimal memuat:
a. kepada siapa pengumuman tersebut ditujukan.
b. isi atau niaksud dan pengumuman tersebut. Pengumuman lisan biasanya singkat dan diakhiri dengan ucapan terirna kasih.

Contoh:
Attention, please:
To all passengers of Argolawu train, please get on board now. The train is going to leave in 5 minutes. Thank you.

• Hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam pengumuman bentuk tertulis adalah:
a. Judul atau jenis kejadian (The title/type of event)
b. Tanggal dan waktu (date and time)
c. Tempat (place)
d. orang/alamat yanga dapat dihubungi (contact person/address)

2. Advertisement (Iklan)

Advertisement is a public announcement in a newspaper or on the radio, television, or Internet advertising something such as a product for sale or an event.

 

3. Brochure
A brochure or pamphlet is a leaflet advertisement. Brochures may advertise locations, events, hotels, products, services, etc. They are usually succinct in language and eye-catching in design, and usually using a headlines.

 

4. Poster
A poster is any large piece of printed paper designed to be attached to a wall or vertical surface. Typically posters include both textual and graphic elements, although a poster may be either wholly graphical or wholly textual. Posters are designed to be both eye-catching and convey information. Posters may be used for many purposes, and they are a frequent tool of advertisers (particularly of events, musicians and films) to communicate a message.
